1. At FORJARS® Canning Supply, we respect your privacy. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we handle your data: Data Collection: We will collect your name, email address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. This information will be gathered verbally over the phone whenever someone contacts our official line or in our physical location.
2. Data Usage: We use your data solely for delivery notifications, to address customer questions and inquiries, and to have informational conversations with them.
3. SMS and Mobile Data: Mobile numbers, SMS consent, and mobile opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Such information is used only for our own messaging program and service-related communications, except as required by law.
4. Data Protection: We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer consumer personal data, including SMS consent and phone numbers, to any external organizations under any circumstances, even with user consent, except as required by law. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, use, or sharing of user data. Access is limited to authorized personnel only.
5. Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at any time.
6. Message and Data Rates May Apply: Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan. Messages are recurring and message frequency varies based on communication needs.
7. Opt-Out: You can opt out of the SMS list at any time by texting, emailing, or replying STOP or CANCEL to support@forjars.ca or (250) 899-9866. After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS to confirm you have unsubscribed, and we will remove your number from our list within 24 hours. You can send HELP for additional assistance, and you will receive a text including our phone number, email address, and website.

8. Message Types: This messaging program consists of conversational/customer care and informational messages only, such as delivery notifications and responses to customer questions or inquiries. Marketing messages are not allowed under this program.
9. Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on recurring communication needs. Message and data rates may apply.
10. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
